WC is replacing Super Bowl

With our borders with Mexico and Canada disappearing the international interest of WC soccer is taking hold here in America. In particular, many of Portugese descent, like myself, are hungering to see Portugal do well in the WC. A great following of Portugese extends on our coast from San Francisco to San Diego. We love your web site!

1) Mario - Currently living in Toronto/Ontario

2) I find there is a great amount of excitement since the province is full of immigrants including a large amount of Portuguese ;) . I have found there are a large amount of non-Portuguese that love watching our matches. At the same time I find there are a lot of English that trash talk Portugal to people when ever it gets brought up (still a little bitter)

3) I like video hut in Cambridge or Port's in Toronto. Most of the sports bars cover the world cup matches.

4) There is barely coverage on the League which I hate. You can catch games at the pubs. Non-Portuguese typically know about the big 3 and that's about it. The sports media have little knowledge of soccer and act like the smallest EPL team is a CL cup contender which is really irritating.

5) Portugal will get to the final and win it!
