We must raise our levels of concentration - Brito

Rio Ave welcomes Benfica

carlos_brito.jpgIt will be a big match for Rio Ave this weekend as they welcome Benfica to the Vila da Conde, and for coach Carlos Brito, it will be a match where his team will have to be their sharpest.

Rio Ave started the new year brightly with a 2-1 win against Vitoria Guimaraes in the Carlsberg Cup, but their domestic campaign has not been as good.

The vila-condense outfit have not won a home match since September and have dropped 8 points with four staright draws.

Despite being tough to beat at home, Brito will ask a bit more of his pupils as he feels Rio Ave will have to be at their best in order not to get railroaded by the Lisbon club.

"Rio Ave have never been a team that was inhibited. Whether we play at home or away, I expect the same for this match, but concentration will be very important," said Brito.

"Our concentration will bring us to other levels that we must be at in order to face a team of Benfica's potential - this is the best Benfica in the last few years."
