Video: Moreira scores in Partizan victory

Metalac 0-2 Partizan

Almani Moreira was on the score sheet as Serbian champions Partizan secured their fourth consecutive league victory to keep in touch with leaders Red Star at the top of the table.

Petrovicu had opened the scoring on 18 minutes with a superb long-range drive, and former Boavista man Moreira doubled the visitors’ advantage with the second twenty minutes later. The Portuguese rounded off a brilliant Partizan passing move with a burst of acceleration and cool finish seven minutes before the break.

Although Partizan remain unbeaten in the league this season, the form of arch rivals Red Star, who have won ten and drawn one from their opening eleven games, means the defending champions still have a four-point deficit to make up if they are to retain their title. The two sides meet later this month when Moreira’s men travel across town on November 27th.
