Porto prospect Bura relishing Pacos experience

Defender still holds Dragons dream

FC Porto’s Portugal under-21 international Bura says he is pleased with the opportunity to play in the Liga Zon Sagres this season, after agreeing a loan deal with Pacos de Ferreira.

The 21-year-old, whose full name is Miguel Angelo Marques Granja, spent the last campaign in the Portuguese second tier with Penafiel. Now, after returning to Porto, Bura has again been loaned out, this time being given the chance to impress under Rui Vitoria at the Estadio da Mata Real.

“It’s always a good thing to get to play in the top flight,” said the tall central defender. “I have been given that chance this year and I just hope to enjoy it and to respond well. I want to seize the opportunity.

“It is very difficult to play for FC Porto, but away from the club we do not stop and we have people aware of our work. I have not given up hope of wearing the Porto shirt.”
