Nani scores as United held

Stoke City 1-1 Manchester United

Portugal winger Nani scored his third Premier League goal of the season as Manchester United relinquished their 100% start to the campaign with a draw at Stoke on Saturday.

The champions came into the game having won all five of their opening league matches, and things looked good for United when Nani gave them a half-time lead at the Britannia Stadium. The former Sporting man exchanged passes with Darren Fletcher before beating Asmir Begovic with a low left-footed finish.

Match highlights:

It was Nani’s second goal in a week, having scored against Chelsea last Sunday, but it would not prove to be enough as Stoke recovered in the second half and drew level through Peter Crouch’s header. United, who could have snatched all three points in injury time when Ryan Giggs failed to convert Nani's excellent cross, now lead city neighbours Manchester City on goal different at the top of the table, with both sides on 16 points from six matches played.

Nani is playing very well and just needs to be consistent.
The talent is there and if the brain catches up to it, the skys the limit.
Keep it up.
What a goal!
