Braga v Sporting live from the Quarry

Hosts pushing for Champions League, Lions aiming for Europe

BragaStadium.jpgThe big match in Portugal this weekend takes place at Braga's magnificent AXA Stadium. The home side will be desperate for the three points as they try to leapfrog Paços de Ferreira and reclaim 3rd spot - a position that carries Champions League football as the prize at the end of the season. Sporting have also not given up on Europe. Three points tonight would edge the Lions closer to a Europa League berth. Follow the action on PortuGOAL with correspondents Stephen Gillet and Vasco Mota Pereira reporting live from the stadium.

I like Braga, but they don't stand a chance. They're weak in depth, have not signed players to make up for sold players, are missing Eder, and most importantly, Peseiro is severely outmatched in tactics by Jesualdo.

I predict a 2-0 or 3-1 victory for Sporting.
